Depending on the buy in/type of tourney my list of starting hands vary greatly. Remember to pay atention and play your opponent just as mech as your cards!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Don't forget that your starting hands do not only vary according to position, but they will also change according to the number of players being dealt in (eg. in Sit N Go's). If you use the same starting hands for 4 players as you do for 10 players, you are missing out on possible winning hands - your should loosen your requirements.

A mistake made in the past is not as important as the lesson learned from it.

loosen up
Yes your so right as the SNG or MTT or a regular tourney progresses depending on who i am in the pot with my decisons very alot.
SNG once it reaches 4 i play alot more agreesive proberrly more agressive then anyone sitting at the table.
My leak is i think i know a player at the table ive sen him call raises 3 x bb reraise with very medium weak cards...and it seems when im in a hand heads up with that certain kind of player i get our drawn....or he/she hits thier rag hand...and that totally sends me thru the roof lol.

i think having a starting hand strategy will doom you to mediocrity, you need to be able to play your opponent and mix your game up or your predictable play will be taken advantage of. a good opponent loves playing against tight players because they can put them on a smaller range of hands. most solid players will catch on to your style and steal your blinds and fold to most of your raises making it tough to build a stack. playing tight is ok but make sure to mix it up a little to keep your opponents honest.

Your starting hands are good but I would throw in some smaller suited connectors as well like 78, 910.
Also if you can see a flop cheaply almost any 2 cards are good but of course muck them as soon as you miss. I've won a few unexpected pots with cheap flops. Last night for example limped in with 96 to flop 996 and later 56 to flop 665. You can only do this early on in a tournement or if you have a good stack and it goes well with the advice of mixing it up.Team UK Winners Full Tilt Poker Team Cup III

Nice thread.
My own starting hand have no importance there, but i wonder when do you play small SC (like 87 diamonds) and "quasi" SC (like 75hearts) which are potentially monsters.
I also wonder what happen to your requirements when someone raised before you, as i feel your requirement is considering that you're the first to act in the hand, if i'm not mistaking?
Plus, is this meaning you will always raise those hands?
I know i have many wonders, but let's say that St Pierre will probably have more.
