    Are you kidding??

With a raise from EP and a caller, I doubt I would call unless I had a premium hand. Are you saying that you would consider calling with J6 "sooted"?

A mistake made in the past is not as important as the lesson learned from it.

I suspect it's not you who had the J6o in the way you ask the question. Most good players are mucking J6o unless they have a very good read on the raiser or you are looking to take out a desperate SS

If it was you you didn't call did you ?

I'm not that sure you have to lay it down as pot odds seems to be good to play J6suited in BB. The raise seems to be real low and you just have to call 1000 to have a chance of winning a big pot, so that you can probably see this flop for cheap. Then if you don't hit you still can fold later and save your 10K.
I'd like to have more explanations on the situation, but i feel like it's a FT of a tourney with blinds that high? Another thing to be known would be your opponents stacks compared to yours and if you're already ITM or not.

I would fold because of your stack related to the blinds. You do not have enough for this gamble though calculated it may be.

    lol
how are you asking yourself this question?
You probably folded (I hope you did) and the flop came with two J or two 6's and u were sorry you didn't call.
There is NO reason in this world you want to call a raise in the BB with j6. Everything is against you. At best you could have live cards but you are probably dominated. You are short stack and you should wait for the right hand to shove, you can't call raises with your stack. You are out of position. Let's say flop is Q J 10. What do you do then? What kind of flop do you want to hit with this hand against 2 opponents? Never think you can call 1/10 of ur stack to play out of position with such a marginal hand!
And Hoje, pot odds can't really been taken into consideration in this situation. It's the least he should be thinking of. That's just something people use to help them call when actually they should insta fold!

I don't think this is a good spot for a squeeze play. You can find better spots imo (obviously they're not 'calling'.. pretty sure they're considering shoving/squeezing).

Nobody can truly give you an answer though unless they were sitting on the same table & were aware of all table dynamics up to that point (who knows.. maybe a superb spot to shove... idk.. just sayin').

I'd rather fold $300 now than $1600+ later. Suppose the flop has an A, K, or Q. Do you fold after putting $1600 in preflop. Or suppose 3 diamonds appeared. With 2 more chances of another diamond, you think the J can hold up? I just feel there are better places to choose your battles than risking it here. This can be a tournament ender and you don't want to go there.
