Do you ever try to get under someone's skin

I am curious if anyone when playing online or live purposely tries to get under someone's skin so they are more likely to make plays at you?

I don't do it verbally. I will however play in such a manner as to get villain to play back at me, setting them up to do it at the perfectly wrong time.
Personally I don't care for the egging players on & the bs talk on the tables. Live is not so bad.. as things generally aren't quite the same as when I see it online (I mean online you've got some internet tough guy weighing all of 98lbs. soaking wet, eating peanut butter & jam sandwiches his Mommy is making for him,...).
I do run into some players who seem to thrive on it. Occassionally I'll respond (if not busy) in a manner that leads them to believe it's actually bugging me (then again, I've had it where it has actually really bugged me... but this has been when it's someone I know somewhat from poker forums & they just start bein' an azz). This type is the one who'll consider slowrolling (in some extreme cases).
More often I'll just click their chat off.

Personally, online.. I don't go for it (except with rgchan for some reason... but only in fun... sorry rg).

verbally and by pushing them if they seem weak at any point.

it bites me in the ass often when someone I've been needling beats me. Karma sucks

i have had it done to me several times. i don't really like it but deal with it in several different ways. as for doing it to others? hmmm, don't give me any new ideas....

I exierinced it a couple of times done to me too. Normally I just ignore it or even lough at them. Personally I really rarely even consider it.

I never try to intimidate another player but do enjoy getting back at a player whom repeatedly bullies others. On many occassions I will sit back and wait until I have a hand to trap a player like that.

I think that trying to get under someone's skin in poker is just another strategy I keep in my arsenal. There are times when a smart-ass comment comes in handy.

As for someone trying to "get under my skin" ... I found this nifty little thing called the "mute button." It works wonders..
