On the button
Has anyone noticed that at Pokerstars the big blind can bypass a player??
To illustrate this I will set out players as B, SB, BB, P1,P2
I was on the button one time in a tournament and the small blind went all-in and was knocked out. For the next hand there was no dead button - it was moved to BB, the small blind was at P1 and the big blind was at P2. Therefore it resulted in BB not having to post his small blind and P1 not having to post his big blind.
I have never seen this at any other site and don't think this is the norm - any feedback?

Yeah..I noticed this as well.
If you are sitting UTG and low stacked it is a great feeling to see the bigblind opponent getting knocked out! You get another orbit for free basically
I could be wrong, but I think Paradise poker use the same rule..
On a side note..this can cause a problem when playing in a live home game.
Im assuming the best way to play is the 'dead button' method in this case(and explaining it to your friends too...especially if they play on Pokerstars alot!)

Playing in a cash game at Titan I think the same thing happens there. I was in the big blind and the small blind went all-in, I called and knocked him out. Before he could restock his chips I was on the button, thereby missing the small blind.
