Descent Freerolls??
i downloaded pokerstars and was wondering don't they have descent freerolls (read: freerolls where u get paied like 100$ freerolls or something?)
i only seem to find stuff like "HUbble's NL hold'em freeroll" where u can qualify for the weekly round 2 ... so for me its more satelite than freeroll...
so i really cant believe they dont have regular freerolls (prolly am overlooking it)
anyway thnx in advance...Last edited by FreakuenC; 09-29-2009 at 10:56 AM.

Yep, week freerolls in stars are satellites to another freerolls in the weekend, in the second freeroll is where you can earn money.
Not that bad if you are new to poker or like to play freerolls, i remember when i play this games usually get in the first 99 that get the ticket, but then need to find a date and type of game that you want because if you play a NLH in the week still week games are different, some times is NLH others omaha, razz, etc, so you need to see what games are on for every weekend.
I don't have the patience today to play a 10,000 donkfest.
In that case look up for cake network freerolls (cake, Doyles, Power, etc), they have also freerolls weekly that give a ticket to the weekend, but in the weekend is a lot less players, my first money in cake was playing this freerolls i get a nice $15 to start my BR there.
Bodog have Freerolls with money, when don't have money there to play week leagues just try the freerolls and usually get $2.
Fulltilt runs $100 freerolls every day.
Remember that to the right of the page you got links to every site, and every time you download from there help the forum

Step it Up
Carbon is one of those sites that many have a problem with ... (I never seem to, even on dial-up)...

But if you don't have a problem with it, their freerolls only have 1,500 people and pay the top 10 finishers in cash. The also have the SnG Fun Steps. You use play chips to purchase a coupon for Table 1, 6 person NLH. If you come in 1st, you get a coupon to Fun Step 2, another 6 person SnG... win that and you get a coupon to Fun Step 3, a 10 person SnG. Come in 1st here and you win $1 real money.
Once I had won about $25 in freeroll money, I started joining the cash MTT's and SnG's. That's how I earned the bankroll I keep at Carbon and have been playing with now for several years, still without depositing.
Good Luck!

For freerolls, I would say Carbon and FullTilt have been the best for me.
Doyles and Cake next best.
PokerStars and BoDog the worst.
This ranking is based on frequency, field size, and payout. Whoever mentioned BoDog as good please let me know where to find their freerolls everything seems to need a password.
Also, a $20 deposit to Carbon is well worth it because you get 14 days of first depositer freerolls. Fields of around 200 with first paying $150 or so. I managed to cash in 7 of them, five for $5 and second for $90 and $100.
Good luck at the tables.
