You shouldnt have a problem with withdrawing from any sites from the UK - what method are you trying to use ?

most sites will just let you withdraw using the same method you deposited from
especially with UK there isnt any issues

is this freeroll winnings ? ie. you havent made a deposit ?

in which case there are generally a couple of issues ...

a) you need to make a deposit via the method you want to withdraw so they can make sure you are who you are / security and verification etc etc

b) you need to have generated some rake in order to release freeroll winnings

both above are fairly standard requirements and IMHO also totally reasonable on the part of the poker room

Initially you have to withdraw to the same source as you deposited. After that you can receive a cheque in UK pounds.

I first deposited via neteller and after my first withdrawal it lets you go into cashier and will show the conversion rate if you want the cheque in UK pounds or euros etc..

I've never had a problem with Pokerstars as its one if not the biggest site on the Internet. The only problem as Bob said could be if you have never deposited and just have freeroll winnings, not sure if it will let you withdraw these as some sites have different rules
