This is a statement from PokerStars Manager about the US online gambling bill "US Poker Ban"

Obviously, there are many unanswered questions at this point - we'll let you know more as time progresses.

However, there are three important things that we can tell you right now:

1. Your money is completely safe at PokerStars. It's kept in a segregated account at one of the largest banks in Europe.

2. You do, and will, have 24/7 access to your account funds. You will always be able to get to your money.

3. We have not made a decision one way or another as regards closing our American accounts.

The other thing that I can promise is that we'll keep the lines of communication open.

I so so so wish this Online gamng bill i the Us would go away they should reopen all the states that were banned back into the online poker community...quit hassling people who arent hurting anyone but themselves if they're losing all there money.Hope YOU arent one of'em rahahaha

It really pisses me off that casinos in Vegas or AC are legal , but I can't sit at home and spend a few bucks playing poker at home. These politicians should spend their time trying to fix other more important problems like unemployment, lowering our taxes or the insanity of gas proces .

There are so many bigger issues in the hands of politicians, this is sickening. Poverty, education, the environment, the list of things more pressing than this issue is endless. The government needs to stop getting involved in everything, how free are we?

casino lobbyist probably made contributions to their campaigns so this bill would pass... maybe online gambling sites should start doing the same next time.
