Thread: Retarded freerolls

    Default Retarded freerolls

I think pokerstars need to do something about there freerolls. I cant stand playing against 10,000 people just to earn a ticket to play another 7,000 people. It's almost impossible to win on that site with the amount of donkage going on there.

    Default 'Nightly Giveaway (AUS)'

Well in Australia they've started doing money freerolls under the regional tab daily. Maybe it will catch on worldwide? But yeah I agree... And depositing is probably even more effort. Money freerolls would take out their compettition with fulltilt too.

I don't think freerolls are pokerstars answer to taking over fultilt. Fultilt also has regional freerolls every night, or they used to anyway, I can't stand playing the 10000 seat freerolls. If you don't like em, play the freerolls on the smaller sites. Bodog usually get around 4000 for their $500 freeroll each night. and if you play every night, just playing that, you'll earn pts, which you can use for their $300 nightly freeroll which usually has less than 2000. They also run one of each during the day. Merge has $200 ones every few hours, only 5000 max. Thats what I do anyway, I've had some success on both networks turning freeroll winning into a workable Bankroll. Took $6 fr winnings from bodog and have it up to 70 now (117 at one point). Carbon also has funsteps which are 10 seat sitngo's, 3 steps, you can win a dollar. Took 2 wins ($2) had it up to 30 lost most of it but still holding on ($5). I think its pointless to try and get a br started on either of the bigger sites through freerolls, though I think fulltilt is a little better.

I play on Bodog but am fairly new. I have 40 points there. I did manage to win a $55+5 ticket to qualifier for there Oct 3 $200,000 ME. I believe they give a ticket for every $500.00 in the pool.

I agree. Money freerolls and lots of them would be devastating to Fulltilt. There's enough players there to run a $500 one every hour.
