Default Western Union Deposits to PokerStars

Just a heads up. I wired $100 via Western Union to some guy in Costa Rica per instructions from Pokerstars. That was 10 days ago and still no money in my account. I've contacted them 3 times about this issue with no response. Guess I'm out $100. Fool me once.

Default have you confirmed it on pokerstars ?

    hi

After you send the money you MUST copy the MTCN number and verify it at the Western Union deposit page at poker stars.

go to cashier, then buy chips, then Western Union, then Deposit, then “Enter Western Union Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

also did you select quick transfer ? as I think that should go through within an hour

if you havent sorted the MTCN info in then that might be the holdup
the bit to the "man" in Costa Rica is correct BTW

you wont be out $100 if you've done it right - stars is NOT a two bit outfit and they wont have run off with your money

once you've checked you have done the MTCN details correctly you can contact their specific deposit support dept (Deposit Assistance Dept) or DAD as its called on dad @ pokerstars.com and get live support by putting "chat request" in a the subject title and then stay logged on -

this should get you actual live support not usually available ;-)

    hope thats a help
    cheers SB

Yeah maybe if you were dealing with the Virual group of online casinos then you would have to worry, but not a large good poker room like Stars, they don't need the $100 that bad

I agree with this counter check whether you did exactly that as I don't think pokerstart can keep your money.
