I have today e-mailed wecare@pokerstars.com and asked them to close my account and permanently exclude me from their site. Thought about his long and hard and decided today that it is the wisest move. I have now given up playing poker in any fashion.
For many, many months now I have monitored my play, hands, bankroll and everything else to do with my pokerplay. Now I am not going to start cryng about the site being fixed or anything like that - for everyone who thinks it is fixed there is another who thinks it is not fixed - it is up to personal opinion.
All I can confirm is that - whenever I have a successful game in which I have won $100+ I will then not have another decent game until after I have played back everything I have previously won and then re-deposited.
My final straw came after recently watching my pocket 10s go down to A6 on a board 9, 10, A, A, A - all in pre-turn.
As I said I am not saying the site is or is not rigged in some fashion I just find its gameplay highly suspect and for that reason I am going with the spirit of my convictions and leaving it, and poker, entirely.
They have asked if I could supply an explanation of why I am leaving and I havent given them one. I just dont think I can stomach someone starting to go on about variance, luck and all the rest of the excuses usually thrown out to try and explain the unexplainable.
To be totally honest Pokerstars lost me at the end of the 1st month of the PSO Premierleague - everything since then has just served to reinforce my belief that it is time to quit poker for good.
