Anyone else from UK and Ire playing in UKIPT League

Hi all

I know Bluffyou123is playing in the pokerstars UKIPT league as well as my self and wondered if any one else from the uk and Ireland were.

It's not a bad league with between 200 and 300 players on any one night. Most are reasonable players. It's not too hard to make the money.

Got to say Bluff is doing a lot better than me. I still lose patience towards the end.

hopefully yes I want to try and make some of the UKIPT tournaments but at the moment not sure how - will have to qualify online again but Ive gone through my roll and maybe get the odd $10 some months but blow it off before getting enough to take a shot at qualifying ;-(

the league sounded like a good idea until I had a look at the leaderboard - pretty much all the leaders have made 28-31 games in a month ... wow

I havent got much chance of making a 7pm game even once a week let alone 5+ times a week

well done for getting so high up the league BTW guys - keep at it and hope you both make a seat or two over the season ... hopefully see you at one of the games

(I also want to try and make the GUIKPT and Genting games this year if thats all running)

I'm a much happier live player than online - but frustratingly got to qualify online - and my patience level is low and distractions level at home is high

It is tricky playing every night for a month at the same time I've only made 3 so far this month an one of them I was distracted and came now where. ! in the money so far and last night just didn't get the cards when needed. Last month I started of okay but had too many other commitments from mid month on.

With only 2 to 300 players you have a good chance of finishing in the top 100 which pays prizes at the end of the month.

I am aiming to play at least 1 UKIPT this year if I can and would rather qualifiy online than pay full fee outright. Manchester would be best as I'm only 30 miles south of there.

Hi Judge.

It's under the regional tourney tab but I don't know if you can enter from Malta as it's supossed to be a UK and Ireland league. You can always try. At the end of the month the player with the most points wins a package to the UK and Ireland poker tour which includes main event buy in and accomadation. Then there's prizes reducing in valuie for the top 100 which include satalite entries and cash.

Points are awarded 1 for just playing, 5 for in the money with more for 10th and upwards with 1st getting 20 points. You have to play most nights to get into the top 10 but the top 100 can be acheived playing less.
