Why does everyone like PS play chips? Do they benefit in any real way?

wow thats good, so maybe i should write a post asking for someone to give me like 5$ lol, i dont know what the hell is going on with those play chips, they may use them for freerolls like in fulltilt.

you can sell play chips on certain sites, that is only the real benifit.

I also have no idea why peope are wanting play chips so desperately like some of these sites are buying Stars playchips? Why would they how can they possibly profit off of them?
