Pokerstars (bad or good site?)

I have been playing on Pokerstars for the past few years and I have noticed a few patterns. It seems that once you win one big hand you are going to win 2 or 3 in a row no matter what cards you are dealt. Another thing that upsets me is that my friend who constantly loses money to me in real life games wins thousands of dollars on this site and I can't win a thing.... let me know if anyone else has experienced similar findings thanks

I've never experienced anything unusual with PokerStars.
That's one of my favorite rooms

Winning a few in a row is not uncommon anywhere. I play at this casino in Nevada (I'm sure others do it) where they have a kill button. If the same player wins two hands in a row over like $10.00 in the pot, he gets the kill button, and the blinds and limts double until that player loses. And it goes on a lot - its just the worm, I guess.

I think you might play a little different online than you do offline? Little more distracted, tv on or something, the game moves a lot fast because dealing is almost instantanious - stuff like that. I don't know about what you have seen on PS I play there all the time and haven't noticed anything off about it.

i've noticed the same thing it seems like u win hands in bunches uuntil they flip the doomswitch on you.lol

Kill Button try just bad cards no buttons in Las Vegas or Reno

i have my moments where i swear they have a secret control room at PS headquarters where PS agents play and can see everyones hands and know the outcome of the cards all the way to the river!

that's almost how dumb some people play....i sometimes think that could be the only explanation!!!

Ive thought this ever since I started playing online poker! To many weird situations and hands winning that shouldnt etc. When I play live im a constant winning player but when it comes to online I play the same but the bad play always gets rewarded. Ive found this is par for most sites.

For a while pokerstars was very good for me built a decent bankroll playing the Sunday $100k then it went bad and started to take it all back so I'm "resting" at stars at the moment.
