i just tried a free roll on pokerstars for the first time today.. was good but WAY to many people.. i think i would take the bad beats of FTP over this LOOONG freerolls just to win a sattelite to another LOOOOONG tourney

i concur.beating 2700 players for cash in hand sure beats having to beat 6000 and then have to beat another 6000 to cash for pretty much the same amount.

This guy at work Say's he has played a free roll for 7+hrs. I couldn't sit there that long for what, 7+hrs in another long a$$ tourney. Playing FR. just cause there free not a good enough reason. Good luck with all that.

Yes, I agree that pokerstar isn´t the frerollers wonderland at all.

But hey, when you have 120.000 players at the tables, who cares attracting freerollers?

top 99... made it to 61st place... i had fun...
long tourney... but i didn't sit there the whole time...
got up made dinner, watched tv... talked on the phone...
love pokerstars... my fave site... then doyles...

I'm not crazy about freerolls in general but trying too register in those full tilt poker tornaments in the past found it hard you have too register within seconds before they fill up... I don't play many freerolls, but I do sometimes play at Poker Stars I do it because I never liked playing Big tornaments but I have this dream of winning the 100k on Poker Stars lol and I figured the hubble and big tornaments are practice for big cash tornaments with a lot of people.. I've always compared the 100k because its a big donk fest $11 buy in that reminds me of a freeroll.

I agree you need to have a trigger finger to freeroll on fulltilt. Stars is ok for anice relaxing freeroll to pass time however winning with 10k or more may be difficult!

yeah some freerolls are ridiculous(12,000 ppl), but if you dont feel like playing through all those people, then just play sit n gos, they have them for real and play money

I play on a lot of sites, and I know my way around the freerolls, I am scandinavian, and the scandinavians actually have a hot freeroll everynight for 2500$.

Why scandinavians? Probably because there are different ways to promote a site... Some have excellent deposit bonuses, some have no-deposit bonuses, and some offer excellent freerolls. And Scandinavians are more used to have hot freerolls to attract them into their site.

But the ordinary freerolls on Stars are sooo poor...
