Most Vulgar Chat
This player at a s&g was so vulgar towards me just because i was out playing him, I had to report him to the table moderator. There has been some terrible chat but this guy was way out of line. It all started when he had said "Isn't any one going to challenge me" At that point he was the chip leader. When i finally did a few hands later, I took 1/2 his chip stack and became chip leader. I said to him "I just did" And then the barrage of verbal abuse started. I have never reported another player before, Even after the Mod. told him to clean up his chat, that did not stop him. I guess it is true, Bad players have to rely on chat to intimidate other players.

It is almost always the case that the abusive player was just outplayed. Occasionally they get donked one too many times and flip out, but normally they were outplayed and they tilt and spaz out in the chat.

Most Vulgar Chat
I agree with wixx. Abusive chat is usually from a player which has just been outplayed or has gotten a bad beat. My advice is let them carry on and use it to your advantage. More than likely they are more concerned with chatting than playing their cards and leave themselves open to even more bad beats. Let them go on tilit. I will often let them ramble thank them for their comments and watch them make one bad play after another. As in any sport emotions are almost always detrimental to your play. Hang in there and don't let them get to you.
As alwys Good Luck and hope to see ya at the tables.

seems to me that ignoring their behavior is the best..that way they not only look like an idiot, they feel like one too...and reporting is also an option haha

Unless I am playing in a private tourney with friends, I shut off the chat.
That's right. Shut off the chat. Simple. Effective.
Try it sometime!

Maybe put on some music that you enjoy, that also won't wind you up too much. Heheh. No Slayer!
