Doyle's Room --- I'm impressed!!!
I've been a regular on Fulltilt and on PokerStars for awhile now but recently had been hunting around for a site to get my girlfriend signed up on with a cash account.
As a result,.. I came across Doyle's Room and started playing in some of their freerolls since Jan.1/08. They're the best freerolls I've ever played in out there, period! Good playing for the most part for sure!
I've actually managed to place and cash in 4 out of maybe 10 freerolls on that site and the BEST thing about that is that they offer 'super mini-micro SNG's - $0.09 + $0.01'
I've become so hooked on those super mini-micro SNG's (and the play is most often very good) that I now play on them more often than I play on the other two sites (lol -- on the other sites I usually play for between $5 & $10 on the SNG's, and the $1/$2 cash tables of NLHE).
I've become so thrilled with Doyle's that I am not only going to sign up the girlfriend, but I'm also going to sign up to it myself.
It took a bit of time to get used to the playing format on Doyle's but once I've gotten going on it, I also PREFER it now to both Absolute and PokerStars (who would've thought, lol,... sure wasn't my initial intentions, lol).
There are other features on the tables at Doyle's which I prefer (besides it just being EXTREMELY FAST!!!!,.. now PS seems like it runs at a snails pace, definitely testing my new lack of patience I've adopted, lol). I also like the betting options on Doyle's with tabs for 2x, 3x, 4x, & 5x BB,... then with 1/2pot, 2/3pot, pot, or allin tabs as well (and of course your usual 'sliding scale' option).
Check it out,... daily freerolls open to all run at 18:00 GMT (13:00EST). You might even like it! ($500 in prize $$ daily, top 260 get paid,.. I've now had cash in my account there ever since the first day I played on it,.. although the girlfriend does tend to dwindle it down a bit, lol). All the rest of the freerolls advertised at Doyle's, all require at least one raked hand in the previous 24hrs.
