When i first saw the 250,000 hands this guy was playing I incorrectly assumed it was Tom Durr in Alias. I heard other rumours he was just a talented young player being backed by some Millionaire because thats the bankroll you would need. Anyone else know anything about this Mystery player ??

Update me with the situation with this guy. I just followed a link of the 10 biggest online pots and he was in like 8 of them with everyone.

His story short? His name is Viktor Blom. I think he's 21-22 years old. He's a gambler..
Worked his way up in stakes pretty fast on the Ipoker network.
He is a monster in NL put not so good in Omaha.
In 2 weeks he won 4.5$ millions from Tom Dwan, and a couple more from Cole south , Zeejustin and Hastings. He was up like 5mil $ in November. He could have quit and live a happy life (I'm pretty sure anyone can retire with 5mil$). But instead he continued playing and by early December we was Down 2mil $ . That is a 7 million dollar swing. He lost 4.5$ mil to Hastings ( there is some data mining accusations here , because he supposedly teamed up with the Cardrunners crew- Cole South and Brian Townsend), 3mil to Ivey and another 2.5 mil to Galfond.
He made a comeback this year taking 1mil and something from Hastings back and like 800k from some others bringing him a little over breakeven but of course he lost it again and he's confirmed busto.

Like the people that win the lottery and then still end up broke, fekking incredible! He could have put 3 mil aside and still had 2 mil left to play with but i guess some peoples needs, greeds, or disease are way outta control

Thanks for the update/info MO. Wow ,, to play like that you just have to think of them as chips and not real money.No concept of money to gamble like some of the hands i saw them play. I know i couldn,t do it. I have hands I played flash replay in my mind for days at small stakes. I,d be suicidal to lose that much money. Wow

Yeah, he was playing 4 tables of 5000NL PLO yesterday.


He lost 2/3 BI's in the beginning but later managed to get in the green zone, don't know how well he finished the session though.
