Negreanu -Online poker vs Live Poker ,,,

Just watched a High Stakes game on TV. It,s probably old as there isn,t much going on lately so its probably a repeat. There were 3 Pro,s and 3 successful young Online players.Negreanu hit a King High str8 Flush on the turn and everyone folded.But he announced his hand anyway and asked the dealer to see the River card explaining he has never had a Royal Flush in his life.The Online players jaws dropped and couldn,t believe it.Actually I find it hard to believe too.And Negreanu went on to say actually that King high str8 was the best hand he has ever had in his life. !! That goes to show that we online players see so many more hands we have seen it all.Miracle rivers and bad beats.Most online players have had a Royal flush.
Negreanu is being called a FISH playing online at STARS by some of the better online players there and they line up to play him.He is playing the $100/$200 NL tables there.Its like a new game to him and he admits he had go back and study/adjust his game to online play.He can now play 2 tables at that level.He freely admits he has trouble playing 4 tables at $10/$20 tables.He is making a comeback now but he is still in the negative.
Negreanu relies on his SUPERIOR skills of reading Live apponants and has astounded us many times by predicting exactly what 2 cards a player is holding.He is finding that hard to do online.
I really like Daniel Negreanu and this is an interesting test for him.He is KidPoker on Poker Stars.I haven,t checked lately.

I would trade all the royals and hundred of thousand of hands I've played for his money
About him playing 100/200 yea, he is a fish in that game particularly and probably always be. He might be a winner at 2knl or below if he studies a lot. He tried to prove something to himself but I'm pretty sure he saw where he is and gave up. He is/was a good Live cash game and tournament player. That's about it.

It is not that old of an episode. Was a good one though. Actually... unlike usually I don't like how Daniel is playing. He's had some cold beats, but he's also let guys get to the river with him. He made a great call on Mike the Mouth in the latest episode and got cold decked twice (dealt it twice). I think it is very interesting what you're saying about him trying to transition to the online world. He's a smart guy and will catch on quick.

at 4 minutes a hand it would take nearly 6 years of solid play to hit a royal or to ensure uve played enough hands to mathmatically have a 100 percent chance.....altho its never a 100 percent


I would think a royal is a rarity for any live player

i've had 2 royal flushes. (where i've actually used both hole cards.) 1 in tourny and 1 at cash table (got carbons royal flush bonus). but i know people who have had more than 1 (online). so, maybe daniel will get his RF why he's playing online. while daniel is a wiz at figuring things out, he is one of the most unluckiest players i've seen in last the couple of years. i hope his curse doesn't follow him online.
