Thumbs up Cash by the Gypsy

    Well what does one say:-

Poker is a people game, not a game played by people, Now to me cash poker is all about 2 things:-

    1/ BANK ROLL MANAGEMENT.

You should only be playing a game with 5% of your total Bank Roll at any one time, and theres a game live or computer for all bankrolls.

    2/ People Game:-

Bit of a misleading statement this because I should of said its all about YOU as the person.

You play Poker the way YOU are in LIFE, so if you are an Impatience person you will play Impatiently! If you are greedy you will play poker greedily!

The art of cash poker is "sussing" out, WHO you are playing against, with the correct bankroll for YOU.

You chose the game for your bankroll and YOU chose who YOU are when you are playing the game, The wise man brings diffrent people to play the game at diffrent times.

Some times you are a winner and some times the sChizophrenia destroys you, but if you are going to play for cash make sure you are ScHIZOPHRENIC.

Exactly. You hit the points spot on again GT. Usually when I am playing online I am playing 4-6 tables. Each table has a different personality that is based on the other players at the tables actions. For example if on one table I am sitting with three call stations and 2 TAG's I will play LAG/TAG, meaning I will be tight with the fish, but loose with the TAG's. On another table if there is all TAG's I play lucy goosey.......

I definitely agree with the Dr.s diagnosis of having to be schiziophrenic in order to play this game well....

One major factor that I feel must be considered when playing ring games is choosing the right buy in $ amount to fit your bankroll. You obviously have to have the bluff available when you feel you need it and to be able to do that you must not be afraid to lose what you have in front of you. The main rule of thumb to abide by is to have at a MINIMUM of 400 times the BB to play with, that is a MINIMUM : ie if you are playing at the $1.00 / $2.00 NL tables you should have a bankroll of at least $800.00
    you call, you lose........

The main thing is to play at the low levels and experiment until you find a way to beat
    those games, then move up

you can play in many different styles, just experiment until you find a winning style
    that you like to use

you can easily win enough money in freerolls to finance play at the low levels, until
you find a way to beat them
