Default Ok assume you know the odds....

    would you rather

    A) have the made hand, and be against a monster draw,

    B) have a monster draw, and be againsst a made hand,

    C) caught a part and have a monster draw (second pair with flush or something), and be made against a made hand

    D) caught a part and have a monster draw, against another monster draw

I have found, I am not shy about getting my money in the middle in a ring game, but certainly seems when I am in good, I see more draw outs. On the reverse, I have also given some SICK beats.

    Recently:

    My losses:
    1) My AA all-in preflop against KK goes down.
    2) My AA all-in preflop against JJ goes down.
    3) My AA all-in preflop against 88 goes down.
    4) My AKs gets all-in post flop with 4 to flush against AKs with 3 to flush and loses to runner runner flush.
    5) My KK runs into limping AA, hits K on flop and pushes only to see A come on turn
    6) My KK gets all in pre-flop and is dead at flop against AK.

    My wins:
    1) My 78s cracks AA. AA called my 3xbb pre-flop and I flopped the flush. AA had the nut flush but only to four cards.
    2) My QQ cracks AA after getting all-in pre-flop.
    3) My 66 cracks KK when I fill in board of 4578x.

I know I prefer the made strong hand when my chips go in, but right now my variance has me questioning that :-)

I like B. I make the most money having a monster draw against a made hand. Because the person with the A high straight will call your all-in on the river even if you have the flush. Its even better when they get their straight on the river.

i like to have the draw as a rule especially against a blautant pre-flop monster so beutiful when u know ur opponent holds aa and plays them so bad.

as a whole though its irrelevent i dont care if i am infront or bhind provided i am getting paid my odds with interest and in reverse my opponent is paying well over th price.

Strange how i feel better when i hold ak v pp rather than holding pp v ak i assume its bcos u go in bhind ak and have no dissapointment when losing but h8 seeing a or k turned over v my pp

I feel like the first part of the post is about engaging post-flop all your chips in the middle, and second part mostly showing hands that went AI pre-flop, so that i have some trouble commenting both. Plus there is many reasons to go all-in that doesn't depends on the hand your holding.
In my view, you consider hands that you played with a confortable stack, meaning more than half your buy-in. That's my hypothesis for my below post.
I for myself, only play home cash-game, 0.05/0.10€, and i tend to avoid going AI myself. I'm probably too shy.
I should play some OL cash-game more often to reconsider my home strategy and see if it could be profitable.
But even if i tend to escape AI, **it happens.
Then pre-flop i would probably hold a nice pp (saying QQ+). And post-flop, i would hold a made hand, probably a str8 or a set, rather than many draws.
So, I would go for A.
BTW, a poll would have been easier to answer.

I always appreciate the answers and color people add to them. This was more for discussion purposes than pure answers. I have found the insights people have here quite valuable.

B, 100% B!!! If I have a made hand on the flop I'm limping to minimize the damage caused when I get kicked in the nutz on the river
