THE CASHGAME with MR. D

Playing a little cash game tonight for a few hours with a whole $2 on the line. Actually now that I understand the game a little more, it was quite relaxing from the never ending MTT's

Now I tried to play real tight and tried to stay in my range unless I got a cheap flop on some marginal pocket pairs. I tried hard to not play any dominated hands. here are some of my problem hands and let me know

I was big blind had to play since no raised - FLOP GAVE ME HIGH PAIR(HERE IS WHERE I f'd UP) I limped right??? by checking and thinks got all f'd up from here. Q on the turn so I bet .10 here (5x bb) but too many hearts on board and when 4th heart fell on River - I felt I had to fold no choice. But the flop bet killed me here (Y OR N) and POINT OUT THE OTHER STUFF

I guess I want to know if my fold was wise or is there something I should of done. THe FLOP did not hit for me in any shape. People were betting and figured this hand was beat. As it turns out the hand was not beat but all I would be doing is chasing. ANY suggestion maybe higher preflop bet but the pocket 10's would of called possibly if I bet 1/2 stack but then, that would be too many of my chips in this pot (ANY ADVICE)

I think this hand is going to be another preflop bet, but with marginal pocket pairs I want to just call here and not raise (Y/N). FLOP sets me up with 2 pairs but a 11xBB so I call all in as I feel my 2 pairs would hold and I felt that if he had trips then he would of put me all in there. A it turns out I was correct except I was a little surprised what I was raised against preflop. He bets 3x bb with 95o (WHY explain this to me and what Im missing) I guess I should of busted all in preflop.

AT THIS POINT IM $1 down so I put in another $1( YEA I KNOW HIGH ROLLIN) and before total chaos hit I was only down .08 so I was slowly building my stack. Now one hand earlier I watched so guy get a massive suckout on some guy and he was rolling and look what comes my way and watch what happens

AM I F'N up with these preflop bets. I put in 7.5x BB preflop on KK. DAMN THIS DUDE YOU JUST SUCKED OUT a few dollars from another player last hand. FLOP comes NO PAIR WILL TOP MINE - ALL IN (SHOULD BE THE BIGGEST POT I HAVE EVER WON CASH GAME BELIEVE IT OR NOT) and DAMN

ANd this jerkoff just ups and leaves the table after this hand


AM I MAD, NO. I dont think I played this hand wrong unless I was just gonna push all in preflop but I got called. BUt once again, I felt more in control of my game then I have ever before. I still gotta get the Timmy Tommy crap out of my play but overall an enjoyable evening, lost $2 but Feel I gained a lot more so CHECK OUT THE HANDS IF YA LIKE AND RIP THEM TO SHREADS because Id rather ya'll do it then have $500 in a pot and have it happen

Ok first hand

To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with the way you played it, not at these stakes. You need a stronger hand on the flop because on the 1c/2c tables you could be sitting with top set on the flop and you will still have 2-3 callers going to the river. They don't care, they live for the 4 outer gut-buster and a Fl draw going to the river? that's a call for sure, so you did good not getting all excited because you had top pair. Higher stakes are going to be different.
2nd hand
I see no fault with the way you played this either. Only a donk would make that call and apparently he did which was a shame because it pushed you out of the hand, see above about the 4 outer gut buster. You probably couldn't get that idiot out of the hand if you pushed all in pre flop. I mean look at his hand, suited connecters, it must be the nuts.
3rd hand
You're so shortstacked you may as well, I'd say flip a coin if in doubt.

Classic raise with sh!t and hit, looking for the big payoff. How long have you been playing micros? You're going to see lots of this.
4th hand
Unlucky, thats' all I can say. You should of won, alot of the time you will win, some of the time the villain wins, some of the time he wins more than he should. Don't worry about him leaving, there's 3-4 more just like him on the table.

I love micro FR Ring, never a dull moment and a miracle round every corner. My advice to you is this. Learn Omaha H/L (play money) then play Omaha micros. The hold 'em players are easy to spot and play Omaha like ATM's.

FLOP IS BEAUTIFUL A 5 J the aces and J's scared me though so I wanted to shut it down there with an all in bet, got the folds I wanted

Thanks for the help, Limey. It really is a big positive motivator when you didnt really find much wrong in my play. Id rather lose (WELL NOT REALLY BUT....) knowing Im playing at least like I know what Im doing and that if it passes inspection here, then if there were some really good players at my tables, they would know this too.
