You have to try to start building a pot with a big hand (especially in a multi-way pot). If someone hasn't caught a piece of it, it's highly unlikely you'll make much from the hand anyways.
Checking on the flop... maybe, BUT for sure you must bet the turn. There's also the possiblity that someone has flopped or turned a set, flopped a pr., a draw, etc.... who knows. You have to start building a pot.

He's right. With so many people in the pot, it makes sense that you are going to lose most of them. But usually one guy will call. So, instead of making a normal-sized raise, just make a smaller raise. You HAVE to build the pot. Flopping the nuts will not ALWAYS pay you off. Someone else has to have a good hand. If no one has a hand, they you will win a small pot.

Better than losing a big one though!

Mark me down for another crazy thread, so let me make sure i got this right and then we can let this idiotic thread go too.

I read that the preflop bet sucked, I should of raised this or I should of got out and that way if I had any customers they would paid to see or got out, So I should put up 3xBB bet .06 (Lets just .10 for this level). Is this a more correct way of thinking about this hand

THE FLOP I should of placed another pot sized bet and see who was still in or not and even if the guy did catch me on the river, at least I narrowed everything down to the people who should be in the pot and now the pot would be around .30 or so. and I would really know who had something that was as good if not better

AT THE RIVER WAS IDOTIC OF ME TO PUSH ALL IN, at this point I dont need to be risking more money then whats already in the pot, so a pot size bet or a little higher would of been the move I should of made and that way if the other guy decided to put me all in then it would be him not me overvaluing a bet but probably the guy would of just called my pot bet and we would of split a pot that would of made a lot more sense then the way I played the hand. This way if something crazy happened like he had a one higher straight, I would at least have some stack protection

Hope Im picking up on this stuff a little better now. I look at this hand now and it screams a MTT player trying out some ring game playing with the MTT mentality, DOES THAT EVEN make sense

    Yes, it does!

Realising where you are going wrong is the key to improving...

Believe me, I am a past, present and future mistress at this

One thing no one mentioned here is your table image. If I read the hand right, you had the nuts at the river. If your image is of a player that bets crazy then I do not think the push is bad. You cannot lose. If someone thinks you are making an exaggerated attempt to steal you may get called my two pair or set.

One thing I have learned playing micros is that a lot of the players are not good, and they will pay you off.

Was your play good? I would concur with other posters there are others to play it.

Was your play awful? Only in that the rake grew to its max and you had to split the pot allowing someone to draw down on you.

I would have bet flop, and turn myself, but that is my style.

I would have bet the flop, turn, and river. Just my humble opinion. Take it or leave it. Peace.

Raise preflop, bet the flop, bet the turn, and bet the river. It is micro stakes, the biggest weakness is that people call too much, so the best way to get value is to bet, and there are so many nice pretty face cards on that board, that they're going to call you with a ton of their range.

    cheers
