Default Handling SB Steals in Rush

Rush 10NL. Seem to be running into a lot players, who in SB, when 2 or 3 players are in pot for a standard raise, reraise to 14xbb or so. Usually everyone folds so unable to know what the ranges are here.

Never seems to happen when I actually have a hand worth calling or reraising with.

Any thoughts? Is is worth calling just to get info? Since it's rush, not sure if that would pay off.

At 10nl, I would expect people to have a pretty decent hand here most of the time, so I'd generally be folding. But I don't play that game much, so I don't really know. I guess I'd just look at their stats and try to decide if they're the type of player to barrel off with air when they 3-bet and miss or the type to give up immediately and let you steal the pot when you miss too. I would guess they'll generally be the barrel off type, so depending on stack sizes you can probably flat with your somewhat speculative but not often dominated hands and then flat until the money is in when you hit. Certainly a tricky spot, and when you're the pfr from EP and you call his bet you invite everyone else to call as well, and its never fun to play a 4 way 3-bet pot OOP. Guess you could also 4-bet lighter since the extra dead money will mean you have to be successful in getting a fold less often to profit and since he's squeezing villain's range will be weaker and should allow you a higher success rate. 3-bet pots against aggressive squeezer's are tricky.

I'm gonna run through some pokerstove ranges to try and figure it out a bit, it would be hard to do this in game, but imo it's the general thought process that's important and not the specific numbers.
If villain is pretty aggressive and making this play 6.2% of the time then his range would be something like ATs+, TT+, AQo+, KQs and a couple suited connectors. If villain is a pretty solid player and sees that you're fairly tight then they can't be too excited about getting 4-bet with less than QQ+ and AK which is 2.6%, if they fold all their other hands, and there is 25bbs in the pot and you 4-bet to 30bb then you have to get a fold 55% of the time if you are on a complete bluff and can't win unless they fold (unrealistic but too difficult of math if you take the flop into consideration). They're folding 58% of their range, so you show a marginal profit simply by 4bet bluffing in this spot and if you're doing it with some blockers to AK and QQ+ then it makes it even more profitable. Right around 6% 3-betting is the break-even point here. So if you've got a ton of hands on the villain and see their squeeze percent and continue against 4-bet percent is unbalanced this is highly exploitable.

    cheers

Been calling some of these from LP with mixed results. As expected, depends on the player. Some show KJo or small pps, some air, and some monsters. Interesting that country of origin can be a clue. Definitely note those that cbet the pot then fold to a reraise altho thats a minority.

Since I don't play with any "self-help" software, I have to rely on my own notes, maybe I need to invest finally.
