OK Im kind of getting my betting head on right where Im like If I got a hand Im going to raise it up and Im noticing that it seems rings game players are into 2nd top pair or just straight out bluffs and will play ya
I think I might have been a victim of my own aggression as I think 2 people knew what I was going to do and let me set it up. These are /02/.04 NL tables and the first person I got was the same dude 2x for 1.70 *his whole stack each time as this was his buy in" and MY stack was $4.
OK If I raised I was strong, Id raise to .12 and if someone tried to come over the top with like a .39 or highher bet it would be an ann all shove by me. 3 crucial times I was able to take some good money but then its like the strategy turned to into some crazy setups. and I would come with very strong hands like KK and I used this same method for the flop, if someone tried to push to hard and I felt I was good I would probably go for their whole stack. Suddenly my stronghands were dominated by even stronger hands and its like both players knew if they raised me a certain amount I would go all in and they both got repaid with interest. I know some hand history would be nice here but its carbon so it would be picture after picture but It seems what worked so well being aggressive in the beginning really bit me in the end, so i guess Im going to have to mix in some of this with my play. and just call some of these bets. BUT YA KNOW IF IM AHEAD but the board starts getting all straight or flush scary, I NEED TO BE MAKING PEOPLE PAY TO DRAW ME OUT right, Maybe its just me, Just irratating after and 1 hour of real good cash game play (or at least aggressive winning play) and to have it all fall apart in 3 hands. BUt its alright, its just something Ill have to re-anaylze, at least Im betting now, something Id of been scared to in the past LOL. I just think the 2 players who paid me first, used my aggression against me and It didnt help that we are talking two top shelf hands that got me in this trouble. PLus I keep reading that if the game is good that you should stay in it regardless if youre losing or winning and the game seemed good.
