    Default When was I beat

ROlling ok here up over $1 and get this hand.

SO without looking at the outcome, when do you think I was beat.

I figured this dude had ace better kicker than me rather than what he had.

I feel this guy was leveraging me as I checked each street and he raised, ok so we are at the turn bet I check he raises, I call, So WHAT HAS THIS TOLD EVERYONE someone must have an ace. I guess the dude could have a small pocket pair, but to me it just seems we are kicker racing.

River 5 comes the $1 bet which just seemed like the next natural betting amount to keep to the I have an ace rag and was like damn he has 55.

I think I got too cute here, as ont he flop I should of just pushed all in but I was worried he had a better kicker and by all accounts of the bets, he seemed really confident in his hand.

A9, that's a fold pre flop for me unless I'm on the button with no action before. If I was going to play it I would have raised pre-flop and check raised after the flop.

NB, I agree about hand selection but I not sure about higher buyin ring games but at .02/.04 I find this hand very playable seeing the stuff others flip over. I would not push all in on even raise with this but Ill see flop cheap with it. I agree I think I should of pushed all of it post flop. Dunno if it would of mattered but he had to have me on the ace but why raise it up like that knowing he's behind.

UNLESS ITS RIGGED oh wait wrong thread sorry!

    Why are we limping preflop?

Why would we ever think (after the fact) that it would've been better to have raised allin on the flop? Why? Are we trying to win the minimum? Makes no sense.

hmmm why are we? I just usually aint leading out the bets when I know my oppponent had trip aces and Im sitting on 55 AA , THe flop bet makes sense but the turn bet makes no sense (to me IM gonna build a pot cause I know 5 is gonna fall on the river). Unless I was suppose to put him on an ace too. I was just curious if any of yall put this dude on 55 anytime he was in this hand. The story I got was maybe A2 at the worst and Ax at the best.

when playing .02/.04 cent tables I have noticed that the play is very loose.
My observation seems that since it is very low stakes players play it like a free roll and call with anything.

I did play .02/.04 then went up to .05/.10 and there is some that play any 2 cards but for the most part players aren't free rolling their hands. This is just my observation on Carbon's cash tables.

For some reason I am not good at NLH cash tables and now have gone back to what I do play well at cash tables which is PLO .05/.10, and leave the NLH to sit and goes and free rolls.

    A9 fold pre-flop, Neil,

Aren't you ready to run like a chicken to the river with 7, 2 (and more than once, so don't say that was a mis-click)

    Saints alive!
