Playing some 6-max NLHE at Carbon. $50 buy-in table. Pretty early so I still have about $45 or so.
Get Js 9s and raise it up to 3.5xBB ... Get a caller.
Flop is a wet dream. .... Ts 8s 7d.
I lead out with a pot-sized bet and get raised ALL-IN (well, I had the guy covered).
I instacall and he shows 6d 9d. I'm an 86:4 favorite with a 10 percent chance of a tie.
Turn and river are DIAMONDS. And he scoops the pot with a flush.
And the worst part is, he lays into me about my bad play. For at least 30 minutes I have to listen to this guy tell everyone how good he is and how bad I am. If I was at a live table, I would have been in my first fight in 30 years. I would have lost, but I would have gone down swinging.
I don't mind losing. I don't like it, but I don't mind it. But shut your mouth when you pull of something like that.
