Default All in with AK pre flop level 1 #4KP tour, PKR

Great #4KP tour on PKR today. 3 hands played.

I was in BB with KK and mr Hojediade raises to 60 after 2 limpers.
I re raise to 380 to show I got a real hand.

But the French (about 98% on PKR) cant fold their AKoff. They think it is the nuts pre flop.

That he hit the river was bad, but saying good game!! after that, omfg.............

Do not see what has to do that he is french, your are a xenophobic or something?.

Do not be a bad loser, deal with that, you are the one that call the allin, so you was expecting that he have a worst hand, he have it, unlucky move on.

Sore loser? Guess you didnt read it right.
It is such bad play pushing with AK when you dont have to.

But when I have KK I love it when people that dont understand the game do that.

And from my experience on PKR it is usually the French.

Like I said: That he hit his A on the river was bad. But the guts to say: good game................thats the worse.

Yes i understand, but you can not do nothing, you put your money in with the best hand and lose, bad beats happen every day.

That he say gg at the end is not because is laughing, is only because he is polite and a friendly player.

I know, it piss you off when that happens, that's why i say deal with that and move on.

He is not a bad player, just look how many leagues he as won, maybe he read your raise was a bluff, maybe he do not care, any way you want that call most of the time, so why tell him not to do it?.

My point is that is no need to be rude, happen all the time, just make a note.

    peace.

Well I guess we wont agree on that 1.

Never mind, I got rid of rising hairs in the back of my neck when he said it.

This tread can be closed. I'm glad he didnt make it ITM :$

Default gg on 4kingpoker not the same as outside

    hi

just to add that IMHO our use of GG within 4kingpoker games IS afiaks ALWAYS used in respect for the other player

and rarely if ever as a mocking or disrespectful thing IMHO

I use it alot when maybe I beat someone with worse cards and get lucky and I know them out ... GG - as in you played well I got lucky, sorry

I know in games outside the forum people are frankly retards and weeners half the time but thats outside of the forum

on this HH afaiks you got your money in good (so GG) but you lost to an ace of the river - it happens ... IMHO the other player gave you a GG out of respect not trying to rub it in that you lost

    but thats just my view

as for it being a French thing - not sure that follows at all ... I think alot of players totally overvalue AK in cash games time and time again ...

but that has nothing to do with being French or playing in one of our games

but in a tournament especially one within the forum - that doesnt hold the same value ... alot of the players here will have rightly or wrongly made alot more judgements on others play and holes in games ... this can lead to players really playing the cards far more situationally than in a cash game full of unknowns

I wouldnt mind betting that most of the active members have some pretty mixed up notes on my play for example - sometimes they are going to respect my plays WAY TOO MUCH and other times they are going to look me up without any hesitation and play me with junk because they probably to a degree have my number

in short in our games I would take any compliments personally and anything you feel as negative not take seriously or also take it as a compliment

    cheers scrawnybob

I think a normal poker player would want their KK being called by a hand that is 30% underdog, but noooo, you're Mr. arrogant american and u lost with KK buhuhuu

Hengelo is a town in the eastern part of The Netherlands, province of Gelderland. The, very rural, area it situated in is known as the Achterhoek. Hengelo (Gelderland) is famous for al kinds of activities with horses (markets, horse-jumping, etc.). Once a year a motorbike race takes place just outside the town on a streetcircuit. It used to be a separate municipality and is now part of the municipality of Bronckhorst. Not to be confused with the larger Hengelo (Ov) in the province of Overijssel.
