Rounders Team - Discussions

hi all

I'm putting up individual team threads for members to discuss team things in the general 4kingpoker team play section of the forum ...

this one for the new Rounders Team

mainly because alot of the discussions in the closed team pages (social group part) are things that everyone would be interested in ... so if it doesnt need to be private (like when I post the passwords - which will be in the private team pages) ... its would be better for getting more participation and discussion if members posted in these threads or generally in the team play section or the forum

hope that makes sense

also a good start would be if leaders could post the next thread in this section with their team list ... which you can edit and add to as you get more confirmed players etc

also you could make things easier for admin if this thread had team members screen names at Carbon Poker, Full Tilt Poker & PokerStars ... as the team only events are at Carbon and the FullTilt v PokerStars league will also be played as a team scoring league as well as an individual scoring league

what's our gameplan captain? i'm new to teamplays & in this team in particular. Please guide me and other newbies about the teamwork.

No teamwork. You play the games as an individual. Only the points are counted as a team. There is absolutely NO TEAM PLAYING. Check out the rules before it gets goin.

in order to keep things enjoyable for all there is NO softplaying / team play allowed in the team only league or in the FTvPS league where there is also team scoring

you score as a team collectively but based on your teams individual efforts - ie. no cheating, soft playing your team members etc etc

common sense really - but this is one of the reasons why the teams have been restarted with 10 max teams - to minimise team collusion etc

in terms of team strategy - its more a motivational thing - encouraging as many of your team to be active to maximise your teams collective scoring potential

how many are we in the team now? lets try to invite or recruit few more to complete the ideal 10members per team.

i'm thinking that not all of us can play in all events so there should always be someone to represent our team in those events. the more chances we have to win as a team.

Good luck all rounders! I would like to have you guys step up and comment on my play if you start noticing weak play that I have that Imight not notice myself. Be as harsh as u want, the goal is to get better.

I have only seen jeffsbabe and jacksoff4me play. Looks like they are very good players. To the other team players, hope to see ya at the tables, and although I don't have that much experience, I have managed to get to final tables fairly often. If you all have any questions or need help on poker, I'll try to answer ya, or at least point you in the right direction.

according to ur profile u created the 72 off team....that is the only group ur a member of
