    Default DU or HU

We have lots of opinions about Double Up tourneys, but what about Heads Up sit n go's for building br. Have 5 bucks in FT (thanks Bob), never seem to be able to build anything at FT with micro games, (do they even have DorN tourneys? I'll have to check) so thought maybe I'd try $1 heads up tourneys, I've had a little success with HU on carbon. What do you think? I would think HU at this level would play pretty similarly as DorN tourneys? As far as BR building anyway.

i would say HU...other than the fact i love it, it is much easier to beat 1 donk than it is to beat 5....or you could look at it in another way.... DU is about lasting longer , not about winning

To be profitable in HU Sng's at the micro buyin level, you actually need a very decent winrate to stay ahead of the rake (tourney fee). I'd never suggest them to anyone as a method for building a roll. I look at them as a an oppurtunity to play some headsup & not much else. I'll also play in them vs. friends (try to log onto one that is in the lobby at the exact same time... then when you're fortunate enough to get on the same table, just keep hitting 're-match'... < I've played quite a few sessions this way & actually was alot of fun).

Even the high buyin HU Sng players usually aren't profitting much from playing them. I've checked out a bunch of them, some with ~$800 avg. buyin, many games played and often they'll be like ROI +0.2% (or even less). There's only a few who are making a killing at them (from the players I've watched & checked out... ie. one guy was up like $600K, just from HU Sng).

With $5 I think I'd take a shot at 2nl tables &/or use it for a priv. tourney buyin, where there's 'cash-added' & is always worth it to play (ie. the 4kingpoker Fulltilt games!!!!!)

    No DoN's on Fulltilt.

As a bankroll builder with super small bankroll... try playing the 0.70 buyin to the BLT sng satty. top 3 pd
