1 fold, BTN raises to t2580 all in, SB raises to t4612 all in, Hero requests TIME, Hero ???

My think in here.

BTN is the shorstack, im close for 2 bb´s so i think he is stealing in this spot with a weaker Ace or small pair (or a worst hand), he need to push in here with a wide range i think.

If was just BTN will call in here with out think much, but we have the sb shoving too, so need to think it.

Sb have 2 times our stack so even if he lose still will have 10-11bb so he could gamble a little in here if feel BTN is stealing, but if he have a hand like 88-QQ we still are in that bad shape?.

If we win the hand will go up to 1st, BTN will be out, sb will be the short, and will be already in $. if BTN win the hand we go to a extra pot of like 800 chips and if we can win to Sb will have still like 4bb, if we lose also to Sb then we are out in 4th.

But if Sb win the hand to both (me and BTN) then i end in 3rd in the $ because have 400 chips more than BTN, then he will end in 4th.

If i fold and BTN win he will be in 1st now, sb and me will be 3rd close in chips. if i fold and Sb win then im in the money but Sb will have 6000, CO 3300 and Me 2700.

At the time looks the best was to call, but not sure is the correct play.

Call or Fold??.

Honestly I'm a bit surprised by the range you give to the shortstack here.... I mean the blinds are only 100/200... so how do ya figure they're shoving a weak Ace otb? They don't 'have to' shove here at all (risk v reward... they win blinds the big 300.. they shove wide & lose.. they're out... having 2900.. or ~2600.. not much difference for them in that spot). If blinds were 150/300 I'd think differently. Not sure what range I'd put them on (I wasn't on the table)... imo shoving weak Aces isn't the hand I'd want to be getting it in with (hands that call you will often crush you).

As far as 'what do I do once SB shoves? Again it depends... but I'm pretty sure I'm getting it in here with the AK all day long (mostly because we're gura. 3rd if SB takes it down). Of course we could get into a situation > SB has AK/AQ and some of our outs are cancelled... and BTN has 33-JJ & triples up, lol.

Do you try to put players on ranges?.. or work out equity equations? just wonderin'?

Because we have like 15 min in the bubble, and he already shove before in same scenario (so for me he was in shove mode already).



He also have 12-13bb left, blinds lower and he shove here (same thing if he win with out call he will get only 180 chips), he have the big stack with 4 times his stack and me with 2 times his stack and bb with same stack.

I call this hand because if lose still will have 15bb and will help to see his range (and if win well yey me). He show KQo (of course he win the hand). so, yea i put him in the loose side (aside of his stats) pushing with 12-13bb left and blinds low. Notice that he don´t take in consideration big stack or me, he´s shoving versus same stack in bb. That´s why i put him in a weaker Ace or worst in the other hand, he was shoving again versus same stack in bb (now me), If he wake up with a big hand in the other hand i think he will raise from BTN (expecting a 3bet or shove to call), a good player maybe will push also to mix it, but i don´t think he is a good player.

This change anything?.
