The Detroit Lions have a long way to go before they can be considered the worst team ever. The Tampa-Bay Buccaneers became an expansion team in 1976 and went 0-14 in their first season and continued to lose in the 1977 season going 26 games without a win. For the T.B. Buccaneers first two seasons went 2-26. as far as i can see they get my vote for the worst NFL team in modern NFL history.
