Are the Arizona Cardinals a team of destiny?
The Cardinals, after ending the regular season with a whimper, have come on strong and have won each of their three playoff games in impressive style. Warner, some say, is in the zone. Their offense, which had a hiccup near the end of the year, has gone ballistic and their defense also has looked good so far.
There seems to be some parallels to the 2001 Patriots who made it to the Superbowl as a wildcard and who, despite being 17 point underdogs, beat the St. Louis Rams, who, strange enough, had Kurt Warner as their starting QB. Now, Warner will move from -playing the overdog role to playing the underdog role. Could the Cards just pull off a last second FG for an improbable Super Bowl win just like the Pats.
But then again aside from Steeler and Cardinal fans, who really cares? What do you
think???
