    The Detroit Lions having the 1st overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft.
    QB Matthew Stafford out of Georgia has signed a contract with the Lions for a whopping $72 million over 6 years with $41mil in guaranteed money. His contract, with incentives could reach as much as $78million.

    I don't think he was the best player in the draft, but I hope for his sake he doesn't turn into the next Joey Harrington.
