i am a diehard eagles fan and love this pickup. i would like to see him take a couple snaps a game at qb for designed plays but also lined up at rb and wr to keep defenses guessing. you have to respect his speed and agility, i would love to see him get some screen plays and see what he can do. mcnabb is a top notch quarterback so the only way vick will get some time at that position is if we suffer an injury. after drafting macklin and mccoy this offense has some weapons for the first time since owens left. good luck nfc, you will need it.

Mcnabb is one of the most overrated QB's in the league. He is not accurate and buckles under pressure. Vick will take over either next year or the year after when Philly gets rid of Reid and Mcnabb duo.

vick taking over for mcnabb? i guess you don't watch too much football. vick is a great athlete but not on mcnabbs level, very few are. its amazing how much our offense throws the ball but mcnabb still manages to throw less interceptions than most quarterbacks, by the way he is the ONLY quarterback to throw 30 tds and less than 10 ints in a year. you say hes over rated but the only qb to my knowledge with a better winning percentage is tom brady. everyone used to say peyton buckled under pressure too but fact of the matter is he was always up against great teams when he lost all those championship games, same with mcnabb. he has dominated the nfc year in and year out and will do it again this year. if he stays healthy this year he will have a chance to win mvp of the league. your coach brad childress would love to have him as the starter, brett favre is probably the most over rated qb in the league. if you make the playoffs you don't want to go against mcnabb, he has dominated the vikings, brett favre, and michael vick.

i am willing to wager money on this statement. we can both ship to scrawnybob now and winner will be paid after all is said and done. you will not see any sports commentator say this on tv because they are experts and know a little something about the game.

No need to get personal. When you get personal it shows you lack the ability to carry on an opinionated conversation. I respect your opinion. Actually, you're dead on about Favre being overrated. I've said it MANY times in this very forum... His stats are overblown because the Packers stuck with him for years while he killed off their playoff chances. Anyway back to the matter at hand....

I've seen so many games where Mcnabb has just underthrown his team into bad situations. He's a mid-tier quarterback, hence why EVEN his best friend Andy Reid benched him for an unproven young gun. He came back and played great but why does he have to get benched to perform at this level when he's "one of the best". I like him personally, but wouldn't want him (or brett favre) as my quarterback.

i don't care to make the bet either but i'm willing to put my money where my mouth is to prove my point. i'm actually pretty surprised that anyone thinks mcnabb is a mid tier qb, his stats are unbelievable escpecially his win/loss ratio. andy reid benching mcnabb was a surprise to everyone, if you watched the game you would have expected westbrook and the receivers to get benched, taking him out cost us the game. if mcnabb had a running game and legitimate receivers he would be the talk of the town. i love westbrook as a receiving back but as a runner he is unreliable, has the talent to break a long one but can't get a yard or two in short yardage situations. by the end of this season i will do my best to convert you into a mcnabb fan, it won't be too hard with kevin curtis back and the additions of macklin and mccoy he is going to have another great year.

Your offense will be almost as explosive as Minnesota's. lol

No really, McNabb will have a lot of weapons back there. Mccoy is GOOOD. He will be a big difference maker. You guys really need a big guy to throw to in short yardage sit. Jackson, Curtis are just not that kinda receiver you can throw a short fade to and say "go get it". I like Mcnabb because he's a fighter, I just think he's overrated as a QB. Not bad... just overrated.
