Apart from Poker, another of my hobbies is golf. I thought I’d get a thread going to see if there are any other golfers in the forum in the hopes of getting a discussion going based on equipment/training techniques/ funny stories associated with golf. Not what music you listen too when you’re playing golf, I’m not interested in that.
I’ve been playing on and off since I was a kid but I only started playing seriously about 3 years ago. When I was a kid, I was pretty good, was being the operative word.
I’m a 20 handicap

Clubs are:-
Driver- Callaway- FT-5
Fairway Woods- 07 Big Bertha (3,5,7)
Irons- 07 Big Bertha 3-PW, AW, LW. SW (Graphite)
Putter- Odyssey Black #2

I’ve been thinking of going with Mizuno irons and going with the steel shaft.
Bought everything on ebay and got some sweet deals, also learned a few pitfalls, for example drop shippers (scum)

I was just watching Justin Rose win some tournament on T.V. and that's what gave me the idea to get a thread going.
