Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manny Ramirez has decided to call it quits and has announced his retirement. MLB has recently notified Ramirez of an issue under their Drug Prevention and Treatment Program and instead of addressing the situation and continuing the process he has abruptly retired. Im not sure exactly what the situation is right now but he has been accused of steroid use in the past.

I see the Rays being bottom feeders for 2011, they replaced to many players with old farts and drama queens.

After Jose released his book and players testified in front of congress there was a lot of players who called it quits instead of facing questions. Manny won't be the last steroid abuser to call it quits to get around the accusations.

Yea, alot of people dont like Canseco for that and call him a liar but he has been right about everything he has said so far.

Yea, initial reports didnt list the specifics but then they reported that. He has pretty much guaranteed himself that he will never get in the HOF now with 2 positive tests.
