NHL playoffs are here !!!!

Well the NHL Playoffs have started and we here in Southern Cali have 2 thats right 2 teams involved, I am a Ducks fan since day 1 and am very excited about what they will do this post season as they were peaking at the right time.The Kings on the other hand went in to the playoffs limping and hurting.Theyhave their 2 best out and they still hung tough with the guppies in game 1, i will root for the Kings against anyone but the Ducks.

Well im not a huge hockey fan but i do pull for the Caps since they are the closest team to me and i think this could be the year they get over the hump and win it all.

I think it would be nice to see the Caps come out of the East for a change so i wish them well, these western conf games here in Cali have been barn burners boy

Yea one of those California teams, the Sharks are like the Caps of the West. They are always a top seed but cant get through the playoffs. It would be nice to see them play in the Finals with the Caps winning it all.

Being a Canadian and we only have 2 Teams in the Play-offs.!! Even though more than 60% of the league is made up by Canadian players.I think Vancouver has the best chance of the Canadian Teams if Luongo plays well in the net.I picked Boston to beat Montreal in hockey pools but you never can seem to count Montreal out as they surprised Boston so far.The noise levels in the Montreal arena is off the charts.
Look out for my Ottawa Senators to make a big comeback next season after dealing away 6 players down the stretch.It will be like a whole new Team built around younger hungrier players with some experienced players to lead them.

I dont know about the Senators being a team to watch out for next year lol. But the Caps are looking good right now and are up 3-1 so they should win this series in the next game and advance to the next round.

I am really surprised we haven't heard from Playful1 about her Canucks,lol. I think my Ducks will get past Nashville now that they are gelling again and Bobby Ryan gets to come back but what about the most epic collapse by a home team ever in the playoffs, the Kings go up by 4 goals to 0 in the first minute of the 2nd and by the end of the game they lose by the score of 6 to 5 in OT, un freaking believable !!!!

Yea that was crazy, i thought for sure the Kings had that game locked up but they prolly thought the same thing and let up some thats why the Sharks were able to get back in it and eventually take it in OT.

Once again last night my Stanley cup hopes were given a slap on the ass, the freaking Ducks are up 3-2 with less then 40 seconds left at home and give up the game tying goal, unforgivable and then they come out in OT and give up the game winner in less then 2 minutes. They really don't deserve to get past Nashville after that performance but i will still hope they do, as they are capable of winning at Nash and then game 7 at home anything can happen.It actually seema like this years playoffs are like that statement " anything can happen "

Tough loss for them but as you said they are capable of winning the series. The Caps have finished off the Rangers and are moving on to the next round.
