Default Hockey Play-off Finals ,, Am i Cheering for the Canadian Team ??

Well,, just watched Vancouver win 1-0. Luongo was terrific.Such fickle B.C. fans were down on him after him giving up 12 goals or something in 2 games in Boston. But when the game is out of hand whats another goal really. The players in front of him gave up too.You just don,t try as hard when the game is out of hand.Whether you lose 8-1 or 2-1 its still a loss so I expected them to play good back in B.C. but it may be the exact opposite again in game 6 in in Boston.
But am I really cheering for the Canadian Team ?? Was the thread title. Because Boston has 20 Canadian players to Vancouvers 16 Canadian players on there Teams !! Vancouver,s Top Line has 2 Swede Twins (Sedin,s) and an American born player. !! So really Boston has more Canadian players than Vancouver so they should win.Because Canadians are tougher and Canada is hockey. The Sedin (Swede twins) had like 4 shots on net between them in 2 games in Boston. They may as well not showed up as they didn,t.That happens alot to weak Euro players in the hard hitting Play-offs.
But at Home to-night in Vancouver the Sedin,s playeed so much better/harder and fought back a little. But then they took penalties for it in the 1st period.
So anyway you look at it Canada wins with 36 players or so on the two Teams.Hockey is still canada,s game.

Hockey is becoming such a goon game that I haven't even watched one playoff game, but I am cheering for Boston because it is an original six team, because Bobby Orr played there, because of that cheap hit in game three, and because I don't like Vancouver.
Sure wish they would clean up the game, especially with regard to fighting (which no other team sport condones) and all the checking into the boards (they use the boards and glass as weapons).
I can remember going to games in Toronto years ago and sitting on the rail with no glass - there wasn't as many dirty plays then as there are now and a lot less injuries.

A mistake made in the past is not as important as the lesson learned from it.

LOL I love how people make these games about countries. No matter what country either team is from or where the players are from they both are representing the NHL. If it was the Olympics then we can talk about Canada vs the USA but this is the Stanley Cup and im not a fan of either so it dont matter to me who wins but i like underdogs so i rather see Boston win.

Enno a Calgary Flames fan i hope. Were some great hockey players played for Calgary and played the game on two fronts ,,, skill and agression.Thats hockey. Bosten beat the Sht out of Vancouver in every corner for the puck in games 3 and 4. The Euro,s Sedin,s have to play there game of finesse. But the tougher Teams often win more than often.I will take a young Canadian kid anyday to a EURO Pussy anyday. It,s a violent sport and granted the shoulder hit was totally clean by the way but it was 4 steps too late i agree. But it was by some-one caught up in the moment and planned the hit and followed it through.4 game suspension was unjustified.Thats Hockey in Canada.Maybe one or 2 game suspension would have been the call. !!
If you don,t like viollence don,t watch game 6 because Bostan is going be hitting any opposing sweater with or without the puck.I,m too drunk to spell now so i should quit. But you Sir are not a hockey fan or you would know they would lay down there lives to win the Stanely Cup except the Swedes. It,s a Canadian thing.Maybe you don,t understand it.And i assume you don,t.
If Bosten pounds out vancouver to-morrow I pick Boston to win.Vancouver,s 1st line of Sedin,s and an American are wimps and the 4th line too is totally dominated by Boston.
But understand me.I am a Canadian and would like a Canadian Team to win but step up and make it happen. If Vancouver loses expect Riots on the streets.Likewise in Bosten but nearly as much. They tend to burn their cities when a basketball team loses but not Hockey ,,,, lol

I think the suspension that came with that hit was justified as it clearly was an illegal hit. I think the fighting is a part of hockey and should remain but dont think Canuck players should be biting other players fingers LMAO. It became even funnier when he said he didnt think he bit him when the video shows him chomping down on that finger like it was a chicken nugget LMAO.
