Default Hatton vs Mayweather - Thoughts & Predictions!

Just wondered what peoples thoughts were on the fight.

Personally I think Hatton will knock Mayweather out aroundbout round 7 or 8. And I hope that the rounds before that Hatton punishes and pummels and beats the living sh*t out of that cocky tw*t!!

I hate arrogant people and Mayweather is the most arrogant guy I have ever seen and it would certainly make my birthday celebrations so much sweeter to see Hattons hand raised while he stands over an unconcious Mayweather.

All your cars, chains and money aren't gonna mean squat when you're flat out on you back!!

Default good thread!

Everytime you bring sport's subject up Daz, i'd like to think that you'r learning well in your university - in addition to playing poker.

Hatton vs Mayweather is a dreamy matchup.
a unique match, between two undefeated boxers in their careers.
on saturday they will stand up against each other on the same ring ready to beat the hell out of each other.

But, these two Goliats dont have that much incomment:

Hatton-
Hatton is the living version of "Billy Elliott", a hero, that can still be seen running the same streets he used to train 10 years ago. unlike David Beckham, he is the simbol of the working, middle class - again, a hero of the people. he brings with him about 20,000 britians who put their best saving for this trip, for their local hope, for living a mans dream - not a show of a Barbie.
Hatton is the true product of hard, disciplined trained work , of man's fair belief in his self.
his arms are short, which means he has to get closer, he has to get beaten in order to fight back. he has no special advantage in any fight what gave him a prediction of 1-3 of winning.

Mayweather-
Mayweather is a star. the kind that is already known in his birth- the kind you can describe as " was born with boxing gloves"...
his father was a former boxer, and a trainer in the present. his tho uncles were world champions, which makes him really- a fruit from a known tree from his beginning.
he is tall, his arms are long and he moves and jumps with a perfect, well experienced tacticts of fightind different styles according to the number of the rounds.

while Hatton is a built site, indoor fighter - Mayweather maybe named as an "aristocrat of boxing"....

a fight well worth skiping some poker hours for
I RECCOMEND....

As a former boxer I would have to say this is going to be the best fight in the last 20 years. I like Mayweather.

I still hate the arrogant prat, but he is a great fighter and he did what he needed to do win. I don't think it was a convincing win, but a win is a win!

You can argue that the ref should have let them fight and not broken it up every 5seconds, and that the ref seemed to blame Hatton for everything even when Mayweather was turning his back etc etc, but it was still a good fight and Mayweather landed some cracking shots.

I don't think he will, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Mayweather retire now. Altho I would to see a rematch, possibley in Manchester, and possibley at Hattons natural weight-class.

Still hate the guy but you can't deny the guy is good, and he does what he needs to do to get the job done!

boxing history is full of challengers who thought they could go up a weight and failed. the concession of those few pounds is always a bridge too far.

back at his natural weight Hatton will remain a formiddable opponent.

I havent seen the fight yet, ive only seen a couple of highlights. It seems it was a great fight, i didnt like mayweather winning because now we will have to hear to him talking trash for a lot of time. The knockout punch was as good as it gets.
