i see marion being more of an impact player with the heat now, marion put up such huge numbers with the suns and could get up and down the court well, i dont think this was a good trade for the suns, two seven footers to contest bynum when is healthy and gasol? hmm

still so many teams out west that are very good exs. san antonio dallas lakers gstate tough to get out of that conference much better overall than east gl at the tables

I think it was a smart yet risky move for the Suns if they dont win it all.They need a bigger post player than Amare in the middle to contend with Duncan,Nowitzki,Bynum,Gasol,Yao...out west.So that is improved and they get experience in the big time with a 4 time NBA champion in Shaq plus they added some decent bench depth with Malik Allen and the other player I forgot who it was but he was a nice role player.Also Marion was a bitter disgruntled ego in the locker room tearing apart the chemistry from what I hear.You always need great team chemistry to win it all in any sport

Shaq will be motivated to get into shape because the Suns are a winning team with a CHANCE...so that alone will get him raring to go ONE last time.Also the Suns will adjust to having Shaq more so than vice versa...as they've never had a POWER post to swing it down low to.Amare is too much finesse you need a Diesel to add to this team and they did.The Suns will still run and push transition but when there jumpers are cold they'll slow it down into a halfcourt setting and pound it down low with Shaq.Should be fun to see how it plays out.Oh by the way this is coming from a guy who's never liked SHAQ

Phoenix will still be able to run with Shaq. Imagine all he does is get the rebound and then kick for fast break its' too easy.......Suns look really good:
