is there frenchi in the draft 2008 ?
i really think you should put tyler hansborrough up there, he's pretty badass man! him and Patrick Ewing Jr
Besides if youre gonna pick BPA (Best Player Available) then the order is more like this:
1. Derrick Rose - Miami Heat
1a. Michael Beasley - Seattle Sonics
2. Brook Lopez - Memphis Grizzlies
3. Jerryd Bayless - Minnesota T-Wolves
4. OJ Mayo - NY Knicks
5. Eric Gordon - LA Clippers
6. Danillo Gallinari - Milwaukee Bucks
7. Anthony Randolph - Charlotte Bobcats
8. Kevin Love - Indiana Pacers
9. DeAndre Jordan - Chicago Bulls
10. D.J. Augustin - Phoenix Suns from Atlanta
1 & 1a could go either way. If Miami wins the lotto I could see them taking Rose or Beasley depending on what they wanna do with Marion. They already have a halfway decent PF in Haslem and Marion can play there as well so I think they will take Rose to play PG next to Wade.
1a: Even though Seattle has Durant, Green, Collison up front there is no way they are passing on Beasley here. One could argue that Rose is the perfect fit since they need a PG, but I dont see them doing anything besides drafting Beasley unless they get a spectacular offer and trade it away.
2. Memphis is thin in the front line and they are loaded with guards, so there is no way they are passing up on Brook Lopez.
3. Minnesota could use a big man to put up next to Al Jefferson, so they are a question mark here although Bayless would be nice next to Foye since Foye is more of a combo guard than a PG.
4. Big name like Mayo? NY cant and wont pass on him if he's available here. They are prolly salivating at the idea of putting Crawford and him together...
5. LA could use a combo guard like Gordon since Mobley is getting older and who knows if Livingston is ever gonna return from that nasty knee injury.
6. Milwaukee is a wild card since they have a good front line (Bogut, Yi, Villanueva) I really think Gallinari would be a good fit for them at SF and it would give the Bucks a huge front line (Bogut 7', Yi 6'11", Gallinari 6'10")
7. Anthony Randolph is a gamble, but the Bobcats have nothing to lose by taking him here. If he develops his upside is crazy next to Okafor.
8. Indiana needs a bruiser to collect all those rebounds. I could see Indiana & Charlotte flip flopping though.
9. This is a no brainer for the Bulls unless they trade the pick. If Jordan falls to them they cannot pass him up, even if they have trouble developing players. His ceiling is so high its rediculous. At worst it gives them another trade chip for a superstar although I aint holding my breath.
10. Phoenix will need a PG for when Nash retires.
