Overrated Celtics

This team should be embarassed by their play during the postseason. They celebrated like they won the title after a Game 7 blowout win over the 8th seeded and 37-45 Atlanta Hawks. This team needs to stop buying into the hype that they're the greatest team in the NBA. With 5 of the 6 wins by blowout, 0-3 on the road and 1-3 close games, these guys better hope the Cavs don't decide to show up and play and pray that Orlanda beats Detroit. If not, the 2008 Finals will be a 2005 rematch between the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons with the Spurs winning in 6 games.

They somehow got the the Finals, damn Flip Saunders. Hopefully Curry, an alumus of my Alma Mata, will get the Pistons right and rule the East, or at least beat Boston next season.

Boston has some great players, and the Lakers have their hands full. Of course, it helps to have your first two at home, they took full advantage.

With a chance of wrapping up the title, they fell short on the road. Question now becomes, Can they seal the deal with two games at home. Chances are, they'll wrap the series up on Tuesday night, but that's no fun. Even though I've bashed them all season, the Celtics win a thriller Tuesday or they'll falter and lose the series on Thursday. Any thoughts on this?

Ok i am not a Celtics fan or really a basket ball fan for that matter but was just wondering how they could be considered overrated they went 66-16 in the regular season only losing 7 at home and they went 16-10 in the postseason only losing 1 at home. Lokks to me like they did what they set out to do WIN!! Only my opinion everyone has one and this is mine. And yes i see BACK 2 BACK also!!

overated lol. i guess if you want to call the world champs that . overrated is what you would call the lakers . maybe they should learn what defense is . the celtics will probaly win back to back , they are about to sign magette to a contract. dont get me started on the pistons lol, keep firing your coach every other year because your players choke in the playoffs .

No, Joke its not often that you get 3 superstar that are willing to lower they personal stats out to make the team better, and that is exactly what the players on the Celtics did and it ended up at a championship
