If Brett did come back, he wouldve played maybe one or two seasons. Rodgers should be their new game, he has been waiting years now to start and it's his time, a nice new young starter for Gbay. I was disappointed But when I opened the box Christmas Eve woohoo And like last year I'll put on my gear sit in front of the bigscreen and yell GO BOYS GO!! And boy isn't it gonna be weird to see Favre suited up to play for the Jets? Happy Jets fans, not so happy Packers fans!
The Colts are gonna be good as usual. The question is though can they stay healthy for the whole year and not win a ton of games in the regular season and choke come playoff time......
Its New Englands for the taking they are the team to beat IMHO............

I guess all that stuff I said about NE being the team to beat gets tossed out the window unless Matt Cassel steps up and fills Bradys shoes.
Big surprise that my Bears beat the Colts on opening night.
I hope they can keep this up all season and win like 10 games. Either that or I will need more fantasy football to keep me occupied......

Pats will be good as cassel only has to be half decent and cassel himself is pretty good. bills might be a surprise team and i see the colts being 10-6 depending if their healthy 12-4 or so. bears are lookingstrong but their offense with orton is still shakey

Their offense is so much better with Orton than Grossman its sick. If and only if their defense brings it every week will the Bears do anything remotely positive this year. On the other hand if Forte continues to get 4.5+ yards per carry then the Bears have an outside shot at winning 10-11 games.
Orton only has to be mediocre for this team to succeed. What that means is manage the clock, dont turn the ball over and get 150-175 passing yards per game. I dont think thats alot to ask for.
Either way it looks to be a promising NFL season once again........

How bad was Addai's injury? He had a head injury if I am not mistaken. A good running game is crucial to Manning's success. I like watching Manning play to see him analyze the defense and adjust. He is one of the smartest QBs ever to play the game.
