Default Randy Couture Is Back In The UFC

Randy Couture has signed up to fight in the UFC again. After all the controvesy and the back and forth and the internat being rife with rumour Randy has signed up to defend his Heavyweight Title against Brock Lesnar.

Not sure how the rest of the heavyweight division will feel about this as Brock has only 3 fights to his name and is getting a title shot. Frank Mir must be pissed, he beat Brock and gets his shot at the intertim title against Big Nog and now Brock gets a title shot against the champ.

Should be interesting to see if either the Mir or Nogueria camp says anything about this.

I wouldn't say it'll be a bad beating but he will struggle if Brock gets on top of him. Brock has to cut weight to fight in the heavyweight division and Randy can make the 205 weight so he will have to deal with possibley the biggest guy he has faced. But Randy is a world class Greco-Roman guy so he could possibley avoid the takedown. It should make for an interesting fight, my prediction is Brock by points at the mo, it may change closer to the time

heavyweights are so boring anymore....what i would like to see is anderson silva stay @ light heavyweight for a lil while and destroy that weight division too....but back to heavyweights.....i think Kongo is the one to watch...but that is just my opinion.....lol

P.S: let me add to that being there is no doubt Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world...and there is not 1 heavyweight in the UFC that could come close to him

I totally agree! I'm a fan of the light weights! They throw more punches, they are faster, and they last longer endurance wise. Seems to me anymore in the heavy weights, if they don't go down in the first or second round, then the rest of the fight is pretty much them laying on top of on another... just my opinion !

I think Couture is gonna get raped in the UFC now. Everyone has gotten better since he left.

I think its a good move though for both parties involved. Its always good to stir up some stuff to attract ratings............

Default Wow

I am suprised everyone is so quick to rule out Randy. He is one of the greats and I am sure he has stayed in shape during his time off. He has been running a first rate fight school. Brock has wieght and ground and pound, Randy has the whole package. I think if Randy can maintain control and make Brock chase him he could wear him out to get the victory in the 5th round.

At least I hope so...I would hate to see his great career tarnished by a fighter like Brock Lesnar.

If he makes him chase him then he'll prob get the same reception that Kalib Barnes did, and that isn't Randy's style. And it would take a lot of chasing to wear out Brock, his training is intense. Check out his UFC All Access show
