Anyone betting on UFC/MMA fights?

I've been considering laying a few bets on some UFC fights on Bodog. Do any of you members bet the UFC/MMA fights online? Do you do so on Bodog?
I haven't checked it out yet... but am sure that once I do I'll be onto it regularly. Seems pretty easy to pick a few winners (ie. BJ Penn over Diego Sanchez... Frank Mir over Kongo.
My roll is really small on Bodog but feel that betting on some UFC fights I'd probably have better go than playing DoN's. Someone mentioned to me that the minimum amount to bet is $1 (what do you pay on this?.. 5%?).

If you're into this, maybe you could respond on this thread and we could pass along a few thoughts on upcoming fights &/or some more info. on how to place bets on Bodog.

I'm not a big fan of betting, but i think you could add the "coming next" events for each of the member to know about the games.
As the UFC 108 is over, let us know about UFC 109.

I do not bet on mma fights yet. I mainly hit the college basketball and dabble in soccer. I've won several soccer bets on Bodog.

Usually the spreads on fights will say like the following:

Tim Hague +190 (plus 190)

Chris Tuchscherer -250 (minus 250)

So since the minimum bet is $1 you would risk $1 to win $1.90 on Tim.

But since the minimum bet is $1 you would have to bet $2.50 to win $1 on Chris. They
would not let you bet less than $2.50 on Chris, since the minimum bet is to win $1.

The spreads are not the same on every website. I have at least 7 websites that I look at before I place my bet, to get the most bang for my buck.

UFC isn't wrestling.

If you bet on any team or guy, and they are listed at +190 it means they are not the favorite. So you are picking the underdog. Hence, they reward your $1 bet if you win with $1.90. If they are listed at +1500, It means every dollar you bet will pay you 15 dollars. These kind of long shot bets might win 1 of 15 times.

As Juan says, UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is far away from wrestling. It's a fight with fighters to master different sort of martial arts, why it's called MMA (Mix Martial Art)
No fake fight there only true blood on the dance floor.
