I choose Dallas Mavericks -480, so risking $24 to win 5.

I am only betting this game to have an odd number of bets for the day.
Usually I only bet the moneyline on a team favored by 7. This is one of those games. So out of sheer laziness, since the moneyline people are usually right within 3 points, I will choose the favored team.

i went 2-1 last night. I won my nba bet last night, but broke even for the night when i count my 2 ncaa bets(I bet moneyline and spread bets yesterday).

I never bet NBA games because a team that should win does not produce the effort, so I usually stick to college games. I see 3 games worth betting tonite on the moneyline in the NBA,but figured I'd choose the one most likely to score.

the Boston Celtics are favored by 10 to win the NY Knicks.

i am betting 96 bucks to win 18 bucks on the moneyline, so Boston just has to win the game for me to cash. I am glad it is an early game, so I do not have to bite bullets all night waiting for the game to begin.
I chose Boston since they have won 9 of their last 10 meetings. And because it is their first home game in a while.

P.S. Boston won 3 of their last road games also, so unless they have a letdown(I hear a player Pierce is sore), this ought to be a no-brainer. On a worry scale, maybe 1 out of 10 simply because of the bet size, since I usually only bet $20 increments.

many days until a bet looks like a guarantee
glad I bet moneyline because boston was nowhere close.
Glad I did not bet the T-wolves game last night, else I woulda had my
arse handed to me.

when you say you risked 22$ and won 5$, i don't get that. so, did you end up with $27 or $17?

it just doesn't seem worth it to me. it appears you risk over 4 times more than what you gain. i know a lot of people sportsbet but i just don't get it.

Thats just his style, see my style is bet $10 and win $700 but it will take several tries before you may actually hit but i mainly bet on sports to make the games more exciting to watch and in the process of the entertainment value rising if i can risk a tiny bit to get a big bunch well thats good also

If I lose my bet, I lose my $22, If I win, I get my $22 back and $5 to boot.
The thought being most teams I pick I try to find seniors playing junior high kids.
I'm a vulture capitalist. I don't like betting when there are two teams that are so good that either one can win on any given day, that it is just a coin flip on who will win that day.
