I'm considered a bandwagonner. I started playing the year Moneymaker won. It wasn't because of the whole "anybody can win it deal" though. I just thought the game looked fun to play and decided to start playing online. I was happily surprised to find that a couple of my friends like to play poker, too.

I got hooked the year before moneymaker won the mainevent. I went to my first live poker tournment ended up losing within the first hour and THEN decided to learn more about the game. Guess im hard headed but i think ive learned through the years and still playing on fulltilt and bodog atm.

i started playing poker 3 years ago, when my school friends started playing, because they where kind of addicted to world series of poker espn show, and we all admired moneymaker, the first day i played and i won like 10 dollars and that was the day i became a holdem lover.
