I started about 2 years ago after watching plenty on TV late at night, then spotting the Maxim King of Poker competition. I entered and almost made the live final event, but not quite. I got better over the next year, then entered again last year, and made the final. I got a bit drunk and didn't do very well, but I rubbed shoulders with the celebs for a while instead

- 3 card brag at 6 years old

- 7 card stud poker at 15

- a long gap with not much cards and then......

- texas hold 'em just about a year ago

I started playing poker for real money in January this year. I used to play texas hold'em and above all stud sit and goes at Party poker (play money only). I also liked sportsbetting but when I saw that I wasn't winning, I started searching for something else more profitable. I started with some no deposit bonuses and now I play in some poker leagues including 4kingpoker as well as ring tables and sometimes MTTs.

I think it was december 2004, that I first heard about it, lol belive it or not, but I didnt start playing till feb 2005,when my then boyfriend came to see me, and got me interested in it, I have been playing ever since then.

The first games i did when was a child, during christmas night with the parents.
Immediately i loved this game, and betting in general.
Now i play on line, as my parents and friends don't play anymore.

Hi guys well i started playing texas holdem about 1 year ago or over 1 year i don't know exactley.....but i guess about now i am a verry good player and i win 6 games of 10.....

I've been playing poker for about 25 years. Mostly home games and then, in the early 90's I played my first "real" game at Binions and have been going at it ever since

i watched for a year and now i've played on line for a year. holdem n/l. i have played draw poker ever since i can remember. taught my 2 boys how to play poker as soon as they had money to lose.

i have played with a deck of cards all my life just not always poker. played a lot of strip poker too
