When did you start playing Holdem?

I've been playing hold em for about 2 years now still a lot to learn

Holdem was the first variety of poker that i played. I was round a friends house at the end of lat summer playing a card game called s**t head and some suggested we play poker using match sticks.

I was astounded by Moneymaker's WSOP top finish and was hooked ever since. If he can do it I can!!

its funny when you look back at it but i started out playing poker on playstation 2, someone bought me the world series of poker game for christmas and i didnt even know how to play but i had seen it on t.v before so i watched the tutorial and learned from there.

moneymaker had a big effect on me playing poker because the thought of turning 40 bucks into millions just from playing a card game is intriguing. i hope i can do something lyke dat.
