Cheaters!!!

Has anyone ever been in a tournament when you think one person is paying as two players? Is it possible? Is it possible to tell if they are? Is that considered cheating?

that i never saw(or i did not think of it ),but instead i saw ppl who played in the same tournament from several accounts...i think cheating is bad ,but it seems they don't have the same opinion

If you even think that there is any cheating (double accounts) or collusion (chip dumping) going on, report the names to the sites support team and let them investigate. Most of the time the players like us are the ones that uncover the dishonest players.
Im sure that what ever OL site your playing on will appreciate your reporting the names for further investigation.

I had this happen on ap/ub last week at a cash table and it was so obvious. They both had the same cat avatar done with paint. I said how odd it was to have the same avatar with a crap paint shop smear or something. He said "we" got it off the internet. His english was very poor as he pretty much said the same things at both seats.

Anyways, 1 of them would bet 5x the bb pre-flop every hand while the other folded until he got AA and KK with them. The table donk pushed all in with 88 if I remember right and the guy called with both. The 88 wins and the idiot sat there and said "HOW DO YOU BEAT ME WITH AA AND KK?" and continued to rant about how ab/ub is rigged.

To make a long story short, I sent a few ss`s of this to ap.

collusion defiantly happens. a kid i went to college with would play at a table with his friends from home and they would stay out of hands with each other and let each other know what they had.

I hope they got busted. That kind of play is cheating and unethical. I hope they lost all of their accounts and never got a penny from anyone. I know it happens all the time. Log into Carbon in the mornings and it is full of Romanians who openly tell fellow Romanians what they have or tell each other their messenger names. I have ss`s to prove this if you would like to see them. A few of them are members here. Me along with another player from Romania have sent Carbon translated screen shots of this and to date nothing has been done that I am aware of.

karma is a b*tch and it comes back 10 fold. the friends who play at the same table and take it easy on eachother or look out for eachother is ok with me. so long as they dont know or say eachones hand. but if they have a pm service going such as skype or aim and are divulging hands and strategies then that is bogus and wrong imho.

Wow - I did not realize there was such going on.
I've always said that online poker can easily be rigged, if there was enough incentive to do so.

I guess I've lead a sheltered and a bit of a protected life so far. That's because I mostly play small stakes with a select group of players week after week so I don't have to put up with some of this silly stuff.

I am noticing more and more of these idiots. Not sure if they are the same person or friends.
It is very obvious though. They are never in the same hand unless there is 1 all in b4 them and then the both call with semi-trash hands. This happened last night. And the sad part is he/they won most of them.
